PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Ryan Foister is a 2002 Eastern Kentucky University School of Occupational Therapy graduate. Ryan
determined early in his academic career that he would focus on Hand Therapy as a specialty. He
concentrated his studies in the area and completed an internship at Georgia Hand and Microsurgery
Therapy Services prior to graduation.

Ryan joined the staff of Kentucky Hand & Physical Therapy in February of 2003. He anchors our team at
Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky, providing onsite services for injured workers with a variety of
upper extremity injuries. Ryan’s goal is to be a Certified Hand Therapist, and he will sit for the exam in
2007.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Ryan lives in Richmond, KY where he recently purchased his first house (and all the plumbing problems
that came with it.) In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, running, watching movies, and
playing Texas Hold-em!
