LESLIE D. HALL | OTR/L, CHT
Occupational Therapist
Certified Hand Therapist
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Leslie Hall is a December 1995 Eastern Kentucky University School of Occupational Therapy graduate.
After graduation, Leslie moved to the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and began her career working in a
therapist-owned private practice. She provided occupational therapy services for home health clients, an
outpatient clinic, and three assisted living/long term care facilities.
Upon her return to Kentucky, Leslie briefly worked for a hospital chain, providing inpatient/outpatient
and home health care for four local hospitals but she missed the challenge and reward of outpatient
treatment. In 1998, she went to work for her mentor, Greg Pitts, in a dedicated hand/occupational
medicine clinic. Here she was able to work closely with renowned physicians and gain experience in
ergonomic and functional capacity evaluation as well as upper extremity rehabilitation and splinting. In
2001, Leslie completed the Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluation Residency Program.
Leslie joined the staff of Kentucky Hand & Physical Therapy in September of 2002. She became a Certified
Hand Therapist in 2003.
