PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Jason Willoughby is a founding partner of Kentucky Hand & Physical Therapy. After his high school
graduation, Jason served four years of active duty in the United States Army. He rose to the rank of
Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division. Upon discharge, Jason began academic study at Eastern Kentucky
University and received his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from EKU in 1999 and his
Masters of Health Science with Orthopedic Emphasis from the University of Indianapolis in 2005. He
became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2004.

Jason’s entire career has been dedicated to the practice of hand therapy and ergonomic/industrial
rehabilitation. He has worked closely with world-renowned hand surgeons and served as the director of
two prestigious hand therapy services prior to founding Kentucky Hand & Physical Therapy with Greg
Pitts in 2002. What began as a two man, one receptionist endeavor has grown in size and reputation.
KHPT now includes 3 stand alone clinics and 2 satellite clinics, and is a recognized leader in the
performance of innovative and results-oriented rehabilitation in Central Kentucky.

Jason has authored/coauthored numerous articles for publication in prestigious medical journals as well
as book chapters. His custom splint designs have been published in orthotic literature, and he has served
on the Practice Committee of the American Society of Hand Therapists.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Jason grew up in Detroit, MI and Bowling Green, KY. He lives in Winchester with his wife, son and
daughter.  In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing.
